STOPPING A RAM
2017 RAM 2500
As the saying goes “what goes up must come down” is true in a major way when towing heavy. Even though Mike’s Ram is equipped with a factory exhaust brake he wanted to ensure his brakes are up to par so we installed a set of front and rear Power Stop Z36 Truck/Tow kits. The pads offer better braking and the drilled/slotted rotors will help them stay cooler when he puts the squeeze to them. During this visit we also performed some routine maintenance including an oil and filter change and replaced both Air Dog fuel filters. With the added fuel filtration from the lift pump the OE fuel filters are no longer used so we installed an XDP fuel filter removal block (removes the front factory filter housing) to clean up the engine bay. Also important when hauling heavy is monitoring engine vitals, this is done through an Edge Insight CTS2. Keeping it unlike every other Ram on the road and an aggressive stance is a set of black Fuel wheels wrapped with Discoverer mud terrain tires. Helping guide him to the perfect camp site a single row LED light bar mounted cleanly in the bumper.
