AN F350 BUILT FOR ADVENTURE AND THE DAILY GRIND
Is It 2wd, 4wd, or 4x6?
Tim needed a truck that he could use to move trailers while having enough storage space when out on adventures. This truck fit the bill perfectly. To boost power it has a 6 position chip, 4″ turbo back exhaust and a K&N air intake. This is a common recipe to help it motor up any grade leaving Phoenix. To help improve stability he installed a full set of Bilstein 5100 series shocks and rear airbags to keep it level when towing. He upgraded the headlights and installed a set of led lights under the bumper to help with visibility at night. The side view mirrors and side steps were acquired from a newer Superduty pickup, they’re functional but help change the look as well. A small detail that really changes the look is vinyl wrapping the paint between the front and rear windows. It gives the appearance of having one solid piece of glass, looks pretty slick!
When it’s time to break free of the daily grind he can get a good nights rest under the stars via a Smittybilt roof top tent. The raised bed rack gives him full use of the long bed for storing all of his gear.
Sweet Ride Tim!
